Wow, time has come and I’m packing my bags and am saying goodbye to everyone. It’s crazy and seems surreal. And I have to
admit, it’s with mixed feelings that I’m leaving Livingstone…however, I’m also
really looking forward to seeing everybody at home :)
Right, let me tell you about my second last
week in Zambia. As I mentioned in my last post, we were having another
tournament. Unfortunately, my body had chosen to get sick (I
seriously thought that I had got malaria. Luckily it turned out to be just a really bad influenza…),
so I was depended on help from others to accomplish the tournament. Doreen had
to attend a workshop all day and all my other colleagues were busy. Luckily, some
coaches from England were doing some workshops at the sports field we were
going to use. Since some of their participants didn’t show up, they were more
than happy to help me with the women! Thanks a lot again!!!
Together we managed to deliver a
good tournament and have a nice day :)

After the tournament it was time for me to
finish my exam paper. Thursday evening I handed it in and was ready to embrace
Lina and Johanne Friday morning :) Together we went to the Zambezi Sun Hotel for enjoying
the sun and afterwards we went for a sunset drink at the Royal Livingstone Hotel. Later
that evening we met all the other YSEP volunteers and we enjoyed a nice dinner.
Saturday and Sunday we spent with our “end of service” meetings. A lovely
sunset cruise was the perfect ending of the good weekend :)

I’m only allowed to carry 23 kg!!! How am I supposed to do that?! Hehe, we’ll
see :)) and spending a lot of time with my friends, before I’m taking the bus
to Lusaka Thursday morning and then the flight home on Friday :) Juhhhuuu!!!!!
